Another man in form is Noah Lyles, the American sprinter currently topping the world lists for both 100m and 200m, but despite three wins from three over 200m in the Diamond League this year, he still only lies second in the #RoadToTheFinal standings. Victory in Lausanne showed that he certainly hasn't lost his good early season form, but he knows he can go even quicker in Monaco if he can improve his start.

Sticking with the sprints, Shaunae Miller-Uibo is plying her trade on two fronts this year, as she aims to make the Diamond League final in both the 200m and 400m. Ultimately she may have a decision to make on which event she contests, given both take place in Brussels, but at today's press conference admitted she does prefer one event over the other.

Despite leading the standings at present with 27 points, largely thanks to victories in Doha and Oslo, the American isn't the only one chasing that Diamond trophy. Katerina Stefanidi scored victory last time out in Lausanne and she loves competing in Monaco.
