2025 Revisited: Rabat

Rewatch meeting records from Beatrice Chebet, Femke Bol and Tobi Amusan at the Rabat leg of the 2025 Wanda Diamond League.

On May 31st, the world’s best athletes will once again descend on Rabat for the African leg of the Wanda Diamond League.

The Moroccan meeting has delivered some unforgettable moments down the years, and after a historic set of results in 2025, expectations are running high ahead of this year’s edition.

You can now relive all the action from last season in the latest episode of our 2025 Revisited series.

It was a night which showcased some of the very best of African talent, with records for Kenya’s Beatrice Chebet, Botswana’s Tshepiso Masalela and Nigeria’s Tobi Amusan.

Chebet continued her superb early-season form with an African and Diamond League record of 8:11.56 in the 3000m.

It was a result which made Chebet the third-fastest woman in history as the Kenyan closed in on another world record.

Masalela clocked his second world lead in as many Diamond League meetings in the 800m, just days after an impressive win in Doha.

World record holder Amusan was also among the five athletes to break a meeting record, racing to 12.45 in the women’s 100m hurdles.

Other meeting records fell to the USA’s Jonah Koech in the men’s 3000m and the Netherlands’ Femke Bol in the women’s 400m hurdles.

Bol’s 52.46 was her first win in what turned out to be another dominant Diamond League campaign, with the Dutch star picking up her fifth straight series title and extending her unbeaten run to 30 Diamond League races.

You can catch all the highlights from the 2025 Meeting International Mohammed VI below.

Each week between now and the beginning of the season, full half-hour highlights packages of each 2025 Wanda Diamond League meeting will be made available on the series YouTube channel.
