With just over 100 days to go until the 2026 Wanda Diamond League season kicks off in Doha, athletics aficionados may be suffering from a bout of the January blues.
Yet fans can still get their track and field fix with our 2025 Revisited series.
Each week between now and the beginning of the season, full half-hour highlights packages of each 2025 Wanda Diamond League meeting will be made available on the series YouTube channel.
The series begins with last season’s opener in Xiamen, which delivered an explosive start to the Road to the Final.
Norwegian hurdles star Karsten Warholm made sporting history when he raced to a world best of 33.05 in the men’s 300m hurdles, which was held for the first time as a Diamond Discipline.
Meanwhile, Kenyan distance legend Faith Kipyegon made a bold attempt to break the world record in the women’s 1000m as part of her preparation for an attack on the four-minute mile later that year.
There were also standout performances from South Africa’s Akani Simbine in the men’s 100m, Sweden’s Mondo Duplantis in the men’s pole vault and Kenya’s Beatrice Chebet in the women’s 5000m.
