The Wanda Diamond League returns with a bang this Saturday as an extraordinary array of Olympic champions and world record breakers descend on Silesia for the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial.
Faith Kipyegon and Mondo Duplantis will be chasing world records in the women’s 3000m and men’s pole vault, while Olympic gold and silver medallists Noah Lyles and Kishane Thompson meet for the first time since their historic battle in the 100m final at Paris 2024.
As the third-to-last meeting on the Road to the Final, Silesia is also one of the last chances for athletes to pick up points and earn their place at the Wanda Diamond League Final in Zurich on August 27-28.
The action starts at 14:05 local time (GMT/UTC+2) with the men’s shot put, and the main programme and two-hour global broadcast begins at 16:00 local time with the women’s 400m.
