100 days to go!

In 100 days time, the 2026 Wanda Diamond League season will kick off at the Qatar Sports Club in Doha.

The countdown has begun!

In exactly 100 days, the eyes of the athletics world will turn to Doha as some of the biggest names in track and field launch their 2026 Wanda Diamond League campaigns at the first meeting of the season.

The Mazzraty Doha Meeting kickstarts one of the most challenging journeys in world sport, as athletes compete over 15 cities on four different continents on the Road to the Final.

The goal? A place in the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 3-4 and a shot at one of the most prestigious titles in global athletics.

In recent years, the Diamond League has cemented its status as athletics’ premier one-day series.

With the world’s greatest athletes going head to head at every single meeting, it has delivered 16 official world records in the past three seasons alone and launched the likes of Letsile Tebogo, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Beatrice Chebet towards Olympic and World Championships glory.

The 2026 campaign promises to rewrite the history books yet again, with Noah Lyles chasing a record-equalling seventh Diamond Trophy and Faith Kipyegon looking to add to her tally of five world records at Diamond League meets.

Swedish pole vaulter Mondo Duplantis will also be out to improve on his world record of 6.30m, having previously set all-time best marks at Diamond League meetings in Xiamen, Eugene, Silesia and Stockholm.

Duplantis has already signed up to compete in Doha and is also set to appear at meetings in London and Silesia in 2026.
