World record breaker Jessica Hull will join the likes of Karsten Warholm, Cordell Tinch and Mattia Furlani on a star-studded line-up at the Wanda Diamond League meeting in Xiamen, China on May 23.
Australian star Hull, who broke the world record in the women’s 2000m at the Monaco Diamond League in 2024, will make her first appearance in Xiamen in the women’s 1500m.
Hull is currently the world number one over 1500m, having established herself as one of the finest middle distance runners of her generation in recent years.
In 2024, she won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in Paris, just weeks after her world record in Monaco.
She followed that up with an equally impressive 2025, claiming top-three finishes in all four of her Diamond League appearances last season before winning the bronze medal at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo.
Alongside 400m hurdles star Warholm, Hull is now one of two current world record holders confirmed for a world-class line-up in Xiamen.
