World record holder Mondo Duplantis will head to Monaco as part of his bid for a sixth Wanda Diamond League title in the men’s pole vault in 2026.
Duplantis will return to Monaco for the fifth time as part of a historic men’s and women’s pole vault double bill at the Meeting Herculis EBS on July 10.
The Swedish superstar will attack his own meeting record of 6.05m, which he set at the Stade Louis II last season.
Monaco will be one of at least seven Diamond League appearances for Duplantis in 2026, with the 27-year-old also set to jump in Keqiao, Stockholm, Doha, Paris, London and Silesia en route to the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The Olympic and world champion is hoping to extend his extraordinary Diamond League dominance in 2026, as he closes in on the overall record of seven series titles.
Duplantis won his fifth Diamond Trophy in 2025 and has notched up 41 Diamond League wins since his debut in the series in 2017.
Four of his 15 world records to date have been at Diamond League meetings, most recently on home soil in Stockholm last year.
Monaco is the tenth leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which begins in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
