Zeekr Europe today announced Olympic and world champion Lieke Klaver as its newest brand ambassador, strengthening the premium mobility brand’s connection with elite athletics through a one-year partnership. As Zeekr expands its presence across Europe, Klaver will work with the brand to showcase the shared values of performance, innovation and ambition that underpin both elite sport and premium mobility.
The Dutch 400m star is an Olympic, world and European champion and one of athletics’ most recognisable athletes, with almost one million followers on social media. She most recently added to her international medal haul with bronze in the Mixed 4x400m relay and women’s 400m and gold in the women’s 4x400m at the European Championships in Birmingham.
Klaver now turns her attention to the decisive final weeks of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League season, which resumes in Lausanne on 21 August.
She is the second athletics star to join Zeekr Europe as a brand ambassador, following 400m hurdles world record holder Karsten Warholm.
The partnerships build on Zeekr’s role as Official Mobility Partner of the Wanda Diamond League for the 2026 season, bringing some of Europe’s most recognisable athletes together with the brand as it expands its presence across the continent.
Across the 2026 European leg of the Diamond League calendar, a fleet of Zeekr X, Zeekr 7X and the all-new Zeekr 7GT is supporting seven meetings in Rome, Stockholm, Oslo, Paris, Monaco, Lausanne and Zurich, providing athlete transfers, team logistics and media operations across each host city ahead of the season finale in Brussels on 4 and 5 September.
The partnership also supports the Wanda Diamond League’s commitment to more sustainable event delivery, with Zeekr’s fleet helping meetings reduce their environmental impact in alignment with the World Athletics “Athletics for a Better World” standard.
