When the World Athletics Championships kick off in Budapest this Saturday, it won’t be the first time that the world’s biggest track and field stars have gone head to head at the highest level this season.
Faith Kipyegon, Mondo Duplantis, Fred Kerley and co. have been strutting their stuff in the Wanda Diamond League since May, and have delivered some extraordinary statements of intent ahead of this month’s major championships.
