Her one-hour world record of 18,930 metres at the Wanda Diamond League exhibition event in Brussels saw her make history yet again as she became the first athlete ever to break a world record on the Diamond League circuit in consecutive seasons.
The reigning Diamond League champion in the 5000m and 1500m, Hassan has dominated the track for much of the last few years.
