Olympic 400m hurdles champion Femke Bol will return to the Stockholm leg of the Wanda Diamond League on June 15, eyeing a fifth career win at the Swedish meeting.
Bol claimed her first ever Diamond League win in Stockholm back in 2020, kickstarting an impressive era of dominance in the 400m hurdles.
The Dutchwoman has since won four successive Diamond League titles and 25 individual victories in the series, including wins in Stockholm in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2024.
She currently holds the meeting and stadium record in Stockholm with 52.27.
“Stockholm awakens something special in me, and the energy that the audience creates at the BAUHAUS gala is unbeatable. I can’t wait to feel that atmosphere again on June 15,” said Bol, who has previously admitted that Stockholm was her “favourite” Diamond League meeting.
Bol will be joined at BAUHAUS-Galan by compatiot Lieke Klaver, who lines up in the women’s 400m.
