The Qatari capital will play host to IAAF’s one-day meet series kick-off act for a sixth successive season, nevertheless the inauguration of the Doha international meeting is dated back to 1997. Throughout all these 18 years of action, several brilliant performances, record-breaking attempts and fantastic head to head clashes have taken place.
