Stockholm: Allyson Felix confirmed for DN Galan
One of track and field’s true superstars, American sprinter, Allyson Felix, is coming to DN Galan on 21 August. She joins fellow global names such as Renaud Lavillenie and Blanka Vlasic at the world-class athletics meeting.

How the track comes on the Diamond Trophy
Each year since the inaugural season of the IAAF Diamond League in 2010 the 32 winners of the Diamond Races receive along with the overall prize money a prestigious Diamond Trophy. Each trophy features three real athletics tracks in the shape of a lap holding a diamond. Now with four more events to go in 2014, all eyes are set on it.

Stockholm: Blanka Vlasic and Emma Green to compete at DN Galan
Two of athletics most popular stars, Blanka Vlasic and Emma Green, will compete in the high jump at DN Galan on 21 August. Blanka is back at elite level after a long struggle with injuries. She is currently ranked second in the world this year after two 2.00 metre jumps in Paris and London.

Most Diamond Races remain wide open with four meetings to go
There are four more meetings left in the 2014 IAAF Diamond League series, but six athletes have dominated their disciplines to the extent that they have already done enough to win the Diamond Race.

Caterine Ibarguen produced the best triple jump of the last six years to earn a dramatic victory at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Monaco’s Stade Louis II, registering and Area record of 15.31m to put her fifth on the world all-time list on Friday (18).
