Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce are to take on Gabrielle Thomas in the women's 200m at the sixth Wanda Diamond League meeting of the season in Monaco on July 9th.
Thomas, 24, clocked the second fastest time in history with 21.61 at the US Olympic trials in Oregon last weekend, and will now be out to claim only her third ever Diamond League win at Herculis next month.
She will face a stern test in Fraser-Pryce and Miller-Uibo, who have eight Diamond Trophies between them.
While the Bahamian is yet to compete in this year's Wanda Diamond League, Jamaican veteran Fraser-Pryce has already posted her first win in the 100m with 10.84.
The 200m will not be the only high-profile clash in the Stade Louis II, however, as reigning Diamond League champion Karsten Warholm takes on Rai Benjamin in the 400m hurdles.
World champion Warholm beat Benjamin to the line in a jaw-dropping race at the Diamond League Final in Zurich in 2019, despite both men running sub-47 times.
The meeting will also see some high class battles in the middle distance events, as Jakob Ingebrigtsen takes on Timothy Cheruiyot in the men's 1500m, and Faith Kipyegon and Sifan Hassan do battle in the women's race. In the men's 800m, three-time Diamond Trophy winner Nijel Amos will face World Athletics Championships silver medallist Amel Tuka.
Yulimar Rojas and Caterine Ibargüen will clash in the women's triple jump, while world champion Anzhelika Sidorova will take on four-time Diamond Trophy winner Katerina Stefanidi and Doha Diamond League winner Katie Nageotte in the women's pole vault.
