Rome: Press Conference

The Wanda Diamond League continues apace this week, as the world’s best athletes recover from the drama of last Sunday’s meeting in Rabat and head to the next leg of the Road to the Final in Rome on Thursday evening.

Elaine Thompson-Herah leads a stellar women’s 200m line-up in the Italian capital, while Gianmarco Tamberi is hoping to grab a first Diamond League win on home soil.

Both of them will be among on the podium at the pre-meeting press conference on Wednesday, alongside an array of fellow stars who are set to grace the track at the Stadio Olimpico. 

The press conference will be broadcast live from 11.00 local time (GMT+2), and the line-up is as follows:

11.00 – Elaine Thompson-Herah (JAM), Allyson Felix (USA), Dina Asher-Smith (GBR), Shaunae Miller-Uibo (BAH)
11.30 – Malaika Mihambo (GER), Fred Kerley (USA), Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (PUR)
12.00 – Gianmarco Tamberi (ITA), Femke Bol (NED), Athing Mu (USA)
