Reigning Wanda Diamond League champions Yaroslava Mahuchikh and Kristjan Ceh will be out to pick up more valuable points in their title defence when the series continues at the Meeting International Mohammed VI in Rabat on May 28th.
Men's discus world champion Ceh is on a six-competition winning streak in the Diamond League, having won at five out of five meetings in 2022 and taken victory with a meeting record of 70.89m at the season opener in Doha earlier this month.
In Rabat, Ceh will be up against former Diamond League champions Daniel Stahl and Andrius Gudzius, as he looks to extend his winning streak to seven and once again establish a firm lead at the top of the Diamond League qualification standings.
Mahuchikh , who claimed her first Diamond Trophy last season, will be out to get her title defence off to a winning start in the first women's high jump competition of the 2023 campaign.
The Ukrainian, who is also the reigning European champion and world indoor champion, is on fine form already this season, having recently cleared 2.00m in Nairobi. In Rabat, she will be up against compatriot Iryna Geraschenko and Italy's Elene Vallortigara.
There will also be Ukrainian representation in the women's triple jump in Rabat, as Maryna Bekh-Romanchuk takes on last year's World Championship silver medallist Shanieka Ricketts and last year's winner in Rabat Thea Lafond.
In the women's discus, meanwhile, world indoor champion Auriol Dongmo takes on European champion Jessica Schilder and world number four Sarah Mitton.
