The world’s best athletes return to Wanda Diamond League action in Silesia on Sunday, with the likes of Mondo Duplantis and Shericka Jackson in blistering form as they approach the midway stage of the 2023 season.
Sprint star Jackson will be hoping to build on her eye-catching 10.65 at the Jamaican national championships last week, while pole vault world record holder Duplantis has been talking up the Slaski Stadion as a place “where you can definitely jump high”.
The Kamila Skolimowska Memorial is the ninth meeting of this year’s Wanda Diamond League season, and another chance for athletes to pick up points in their bid to qualify for the final in Eugene on September 16-17th.
The action will start at 14:00 local time (GMT+2) with the women’s high jump and the main programme will kick off at 16:00 local time with the women’s 400m.
