Suzhou: Live Updates

Follow live updates from all the action and reaction as Mondo Duplantis, Mutaz Essa Barshim, Sha'Carri Richardson and others continue their 2024 Wanda Diamond League campaigns in Suzhou this Saturday.

The world’s best track and field stars are back in action at the second leg of the Wanda Diamond League this Saturday, as the Chinese city of Suzhou makes its first ever appearance on athletics’ premier one-day circuit.

After Mondo Duplantis’ stunning world record at the season launch in Xiamen last weekend, more fireworks are expected in Suzhou. US world champion Sha’Carri Richardson and Jamaican hurdler Hansle Parchment will be hoping to bounce back from opening day defeats, while sprint rivals Christian Coleman and Fred Kerley will once again go head to head in the 100m.

As well as a step on the road to the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 13th-14th, the Suzhou Diamond League will also be another key test of form as athletes look ahead to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The action on Saturday will start at 17:45 local time (GMT+8) with the men’s long jump and the main programme will kick off at 19:00 local time with the women’s 400m. You can follow live coverage via the blog below.
