The Wanda Diamond League is back! This Saturday, the world’s best athletes will kick off their outdoor seasons at the Egret Stadium in Xiamen, taking their first steps towards the series final in Zurich on August 27-28.

A year on from his sensational world record in Xiamen last year, pole vault superstar Mondo Duplantis will be hoping to start his season with a bang once again in 2025.

Kenyan star Faith Kipyegon is also a world record candidate in the women’s 1000m, while fellow Olympic champions Letsile Tebogo, Grant Holloway and Yaroslava Mahuchikh face up to heavyweight clashes in the men’s 100m, men’s 110m hurdles and women’s high jump.

The action in Xiamen begins at 18:15 local time (GMT/UTC+8) with the women’s high jump and the main programme and global broadcast begin at 19:00 local time with the men’s 400m.
