After an explosive start to the season in Shanghai/Keqiao last Saturday, the Wanda Diamond League continues this weekend with the second meeting of the season in Xiamen.
Many of the stars of Keqiao will be back in action in Xiamen, while others are set to make their first Diamond League appearance of the season at the Egret Stadium.
For the likes of Gift Leotlela, Masai Russell and Peruth Chemutai, Xiamen is a chance to make it two wins in two after impressve victories last weekend.
Stars such as Cordell Tinch, Letsile Tebogo and Karsten Warholm, meanwhile, will be hoping to bounce back from defeats in the season opener.
Among those kickstarting their Diamond League campaigns in Xiamen are world shot put champion Ryan Crouser and US discus legend Valarie Sion.

Xiamen is the second leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
