A world-class line-up continues to take shape at the tenth Wanda Diamond League meeting of the season in Monaco next month with the addition of five more Paris 2024 gold medallists.
Olympic 100m champion Julien Alfred will return to Herculis EBS Monaco on July 11, a year after she claimed her first ever Diamond League win at the Stade Louis II last season.
The St. Lucian star is already in formidable form, opening her Diamond League title defence with back-to-back wins in Oslo and Stockholm last week.
110m hurdles gold medallist Grant Holloway is also a familiar face in Monaco, having won at the meeting in 2024, 2022 and 2020.
The Dominican Republic’s Marileidy Paulino, by contrast, will make her Herculis debut when she lines up in the women’s 400m.
Kenya’s Emmanuel Wanyonyi will be hoping to pick up his third win of the season when he headlines the men’s 800m, while Germany’s Yemisi Ogunleye will be aiming for a first ever Diamond League victory in the shot put.
The five additions take the total of reigning Olympic champions at Herculis to seven, with high jump gold medallist Hamish Kerr and pole vault world record holder Mondo Duplantis already confirmed.
Other global superstars in action in Monaco include 400m hurdles Diamond League champion Femke Bol and Australian sprint prodigy Gout Gout.
