Eugene 2025: Live Updates

Follow all the build-up, action and reaction as Julien Alfred, Faith Kipyegon, Letsile Tebogo and others line up at the Wanda Diamond League meeting at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene this Saturday.

Eugene’s iconic Hayward Field will once again welcome the biggest stars in track and field this Saturday as the Wanda Diamond League touches down in the USA for the ninth leg of the Road to the Final.

A total of 98 Paris 2024 medallists will be in action at the Prefontaine Classic, in an extraordinarily deep line-up which promises both world-beating times and a new chapter in some of the sport’s most absorbing rivalries.

Letsile Tebogo and Kenneth Bednarek go head-to-head in the men’s 200m and Julien Alfred and Sha’Carri Richardson face off in the women’s 100m.

Meanwhile, Olympic champions and world record holders such as Mondo Duplantis, Faith Kipyegon and Beatrice Chebet also continue their charge for a place in the Wanda Diamond League Final after an explosive start to the campaign in recent months.

The action in Eugene begins at 12:27 local time (GMT/UTC-7) with the women’s shot put and the main two-hour programme and global broadcast starts at 13:00 local time with the men’s 400m hurdles.
