This Saturday, the 2026 Wanda Diamond League season will get underway in Shanghai/Keqiao.
For the world’s best athletes, it is the beginning of a journey that will take them across four continents and 15 cities as they bid for a place in the Wanda Diamond League Final, which this year takes place in Brussels on September 4-5.
The season finale is a chance to win one of global sport’s prestigious titles and join an illustrious of historic Diamond League champions that includes the likes of Usain Bolt, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, David Rudisha and Allyson Felix.

Meanwhile, Dutch star Femke Bol extended her extraordinary Diamond League winning streak to 30 competitions as she claimed a fifth title in the women’s 400m hurdles.
Julien Alfred defended her title in the women’s 100m, while Valarie Sion (then Allman) completed a perfect season in the women’s discus, claiming her sixth win in six competitions to secure a fifth career Diamond Trophy.
