After another night of records in Rabat on Sunday, the Road to the Final continues apace this week as the Wanda Diamond League touches down in Europe for the first time in 2026.
The world’s best head to Rome this Thursday for the Golden Gala Pietro Mennea, before moving on to Stockholm’s BAUHAUS-Galan on Sunday.
The two meetings will see a number of major stars begin their 2026 Diamond League campaigns, including Noah Lyles, Julien Alfred, Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Keely Hodgkinson.

Rome and Stockholm are the fourth and fifth legs of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
