The business end of the season begins as the Wanda Diamond League resumes on the shores of Lake Geneva in Lausanne this Friday.
Athletissima is the first of three remaining chances for the world’s best athletes to pick up points as they battle to qualify for a place in the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 4-5.
Among those eyeing a final berth on Friday are quadruple European Champion Amy Hunt, Olympic 200m champion Letsile Tebogo and Swiss 800m superstar Audrey Werro.
The action begins at 18:50 local time (GMT/UTC+2) with the women’s javelin and the main programme and two-hour broadcast starts at 20:00 local time with the women’s 400m hurdles.
