The Road to the Final heads into the final straight this weekend as the world’s best athletes resume their Wanda Diamond League campaigns in Lausanne on Friday.
Athletissima is one of three remaining chances for athletes to earn points as they bid to qualify for the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The likes of Letsile Tebogo, Masai Russell, Emmanuel Wanyonyi and Audrey Werro will all be in action at the Stade de la Pontaise on Friday night, while world record holder Mondo Duplantis will headline the pole vault city event on the shores of Lake Geneva on Thursday.

Lausanne is the 12th leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
