Karsten Warholm and Alison Dos Santos will resume their rivalry in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Oslo leg of the Wanda Diamond League on June 10.
World record holder Warholm will be out for revenge in front of his home crowd at the Bislett Games after he suffered back-to-back defeats to Dos Santos in Keqiao and Xiamen this month.
Dos Santos won the 300m hurdles at the Diamond League season opener in Keqiao before racing to a world lead of 46.72 in the 400m hurdles in Xiamen a week later.
“When I run, I always want to win. My plan for the weeks ahead is to train and get ready for the next meetings. I promise you I will light a fire,” said Warholm after defeat last Saturday.
The Norwegian will have the home crowd behind him at the Bislett Stadium, where he has won seven out of ten Diamond League appearances.
Oslo is the sixth leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
