Alison Dos Santos will be out to extend his winning streak against Karsten Warholm when the two men resume their rivalry in the men’s 400m hurdles at the Silesia leg of the Wanda Diamond League on August 23.
The top two 400m hurdlers in the world will clash for the fourth time this season at the Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Poland next month, with both eyeing a statement win ahead of the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 4-5.
Dos Santos and Warholm have both already qualified for the series final, with Warholm topping the standings on 29 points.
Yet it is the Brazilian who has dominated their direct clashes so far, beating Warholm in the 300m hurdles in Shanghai/Keqiao and the 400m hurdles in Xiamen and Oslo.
Warholm returned to winning ways with a superb meeting record and world lead of 46.61 in London last weekend, and will be out for revenge when he faces Dos Santos in Poland.
Silesia is the 13th leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
