Karsten Warholm and Alison Dos Santos will write another chapter of their enthralling 400m hurdles rivalry at the Zurich leg of the Wanda Diamond League on August 27.
Norway’s Warholm and Brazil’s Dos Santos will meet for the fifth time this season at Weltklasse Zürich, in what promises to be a dress rehearsal for the Wanda Diamond League Final in Brussels on September 4-5.
Dos Santos is unbeaten against Warholm this year, having defeated his rival in the 300m hurdles in Shanghai/Keqiao and in the 400m hurdles in Xiamen and Oslo.
The two men are set to meet again in Silesia on August 23 before clashing in Zurich just a few days later.
Both have already qualified for the series final in Brussels, where Warholm is aiming for a fourth and Dos Santos a third Diamond Trophy.
Zurich is the 14th leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
