Katie Moon and Nina Kennedy will headline a stellar women’s pole vault field at the Athletissima Wanda Diamond League meeting in Lausanne on August 21.
Olympic champion Kennedy and world champion Moon will be joined in Lausanne by Swiss star Angelica Moser, New Zealand’s Eliza McCartney and France’s Marie-Julie Bonnin.
Moon is the reigning Diamond League champion, but it was Kennedy who emerged on top with 4.80m when the two women last met in Rabat last month.
Moser claimed only her third Diamond League win in Paris this Sunday, clearing 4.77m.
Lausanne is the 12th leg of the 2026 Wanda Diamond League, which began in Shanghai/Keqiao on May 16 and ends at the two-day series final in Brussels on September 4-5.
The series unites the biggest names in track and field in some of the world’s most iconic arenas, crossing four continents and 15 cities over the course of the season.
